The application period for 2024 is now closed. The recipients will be notified by the panel of judges at the beginning of May.
The Lebanon County Association of Realtors® Mary A Rakow Scholarship is open to any 12th grade student graduating from a Lebanon County High School this year.
To be eligible for a scholarship, the applicant must have been accepted to a post-secondary (two or four year) college, university or other accredited degree granting institution or technical school. The applicant should be planning on receiving a degree or diploma and be enrolled in a course of study.
Scholarships will be awarded without regard to sex, race, age, color, national origin, religious creed or disability.
Application Process
- Applications are to be returned by Wednesday, April 10th, 2024, to the Lebanon County Association of REALTORS(R) – 989 Quentin Road, Suite 2, Lebanon, PA 17042 or emailed to exec@wearelcar.com.
- Essays must adhere to the given topic and must be typed, double spaced, minimum of 500 words on white paper. All essays must cite sources of materials – books, periodicals, interviews, etc.
- All essays become the property of the Lebanon County Association of REALTORs who may publish and distribute them as it sees fit.
- The winning essays will be determined by a panel of judges whose decision is final. The panel of judges will review the essays and scholarship recipients will be notified at the beginning of May.
- Up to 3 scholarships will be awarded – each $500.
- Financial need will not be considered when selecting recipients.
